The CFTC Charitable Organization Exemption Act

Background

The CFTC Charitable Organization Exemption Act would clarify that qualified charitable organizations, including church plans, are exempted from CFTC regulation as “commodity pool operators” (CPOs) and “commodity trading advisors” (CTAs).
